I apparently ran a half marathon six years ago today wearing tall compression socks that did nothing for me but itch and ruin my finisher photo. I remember the day being oppressively hot, which didn’t help in the please-stop-making-my-shins-itch department. But I also remember it being a pretty awesome run.
