Give him your number, As long as you have caller id, it doesn't mean you have to answer. After he has left a couple of messages he should get the point. And if you run into him, life is busy.

Being the selfish person I am my vote is to give him the number. I look forward to reading more about this. You've got Red Shirt guy, now you need the anti-Red Shirt guy...,

On no account give him your number. He laughed at your father being in the hospital. 'Nuff said.

Give him your number but fart audibly from the power bar you just ate, and demurely say "Ooops! Sorry! Tee hee!" - Jimbo

I have this problem all of the time. Apparently, people I dislike are attracted to me like bees to honey. And, since I'm a puss, I never have the heart to tell them to go away. Personally, I do the "give the number, use Caller ID for its God-intended purpose which is to avoid people you don't like" move, but always I feel quite bad about it. So I will advise you to not be like me, and instead honestly tell this person that you don't want to talk to them. Ah...so easy to write, so hard to do.

Do NOT give him your number. The fact that you're asking IF you should tells you "no". Don't play games. Be bluntly honest. Was he ever less so with you ? Give him the brush off, that lets him know the expiration date has passed. Now, the question is, what DID you do ?

Give him the number of another evil ex. And get a camera crew to document what follows, so you may cackle in glee and cry tears of mirth as you watch the collision from the safety of your living room.

Some people might call that elaborate. I call it ingenious. ^^"
